Commonly accepted formats include STEP, STP, IGES, IGS, X_T, STL, DWG, DXF, and PDF. STEP files are generally preferred for reviewing three-dimensional part geometry.

Customer drawings, CAD files, specifications, and commercial information are handled as confidential project data. Non-disclosure agreements can also be signed when required before technical evaluation or production.

Achievable tolerances depend on part size, geometry, material, machining method, and measurement requirements. General machining tolerances are applied unless tighter tolerances are clearly marked on the drawing and reviewed by our engineering team.

Yes. Our engineers can review wall thickness, corner radii, tool accessibility, undercuts, draft angles, tolerance requirements, and material selection. Design for manufacturability recommendations can help reduce production risks and unnecessary costs.

Three-axis machining is suitable for many standard prismatic parts. Four-axis machining supports rotational features and multiple-side processing, while five-axis machining is better suited to complex surfaces, compound angles, and parts requiring fewer setups.

Only functionally important dimensions should receive tight tolerances. Drawings should clearly define dimensional tolerances, geometric tolerances, datum references, surface finish, threads, critical features, and inspection requirements.

A draft angle of approximately 1° to 2° per side is commonly recommended for standard surfaces. Textured surfaces, deep ribs, and complex geometries may require larger draft angles to support reliable mold release.

Consistent wall thickness, properly designed ribs, balanced gate placement, suitable cooling, appropriate material selection, and controlled molding parameters can help reduce sink marks and warpage. Thick sections should be cored out whenever possible.

Major cost factors include material, part dimensions, geometric complexity, tolerance level, setup time, machining time, tooling structure, surface finish, inspection requirements, assembly work, and order quantity.

Inspection may include incoming material verification, dimensional measurement, visual inspection, thread and gauge checks, surface finish evaluation, functional testing, and final shipment inspection. Inspection reports can be prepared according to project requirements.
